What can Envision Psychotherapy help me with?
Grief
Envision Psychotherapy recognizes that people grieve in different ways and on different timelines. Within a safe and compassionate environment, emotions resulting from a significant loss can be explored using evidence-based approaches. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotions Focused Therapy (EFT) and narrative therapy are some of the modalities that are used to deepen a client’s understanding of their individualized grief.
For those experiencing complicated or traumatic grief, therapy may address trauma responses alongside the grieving process.
The goals of grief therapy are:
To help individuals accept the reality of the loss.
To work through the pain of grief.
To adjust to life without the deceased or lost element.
To find ways to maintain a connection while continuing with life.
